North Korea as you will never see it again (before the missiles start flying)

Hey Mad Music fans with all the excitement, heightened tension and threats of imminent war in Korea, we thought it would be an opportune time to bring our followers up to date on what North Korea is really like. The following video is part of a feature done by our favourite bad ass and hard core video-graphers, VICE magazine. Shot during the King Jung Il (the father) era, it takes a look at the crazy and bizarre life behind the iron curtain of North Korea.

This documentary is long but trust us worth the watch....maaaahd, not really a mad moment in music but DEFINITELY a Mad Moment...Enjoy

The first in the 3 part series features Shane and the Vice crew and their challenges to get into North Korea, a visit to the South Korean Demilitarized Zone, a strange hotel banquet and a bizarre visit to a tea lady

Then the second video the madness continues with a visit to the North Korean Demilitarized Zone, the International Friendship Centre and a trip to Pyongyang's Metro

Finally in the 3rd video the crazy tour includes the Great People's Library, the School Children's Palace and the Arirang an insane performance with over 120,000 performers and of course lots more threats of prison for shooting video
