So back to the news,  A little late but  really  feeling this song by Blanco Brown  and the song "The Git Up" a clever blend of line dancing, hip hop and 2 step/ It has taken the word by storm  and inspired the #TheGitUp Challenge  on Tik Tok and all over social media. Originally designed to be done with a partner  but as the song gained popularity Blanco  says you can do it by yourself and just follow his lead.  A  good fusion of country and hip hop that will have you dancing all night.


We cant showcase this video without  paying homage to another classic line dance, "The Electric Boogie" by Marcia Griffiths. A staple at any wedding or good old family renuion, this song never fails to draw people to the dance floor.

Mad Fun Fact the song is actually a cover the original was released by Bunny Wailer in 1976 and re recorded by Marcia Griffiths in 1983 along with the accompanying Electric slide dance it became a the musical juggernaut it is today.   MAAAAAD MUSIC
