Probably one of the more under-rated talents in Jamaica she shows her true talent on the recent single by DJ Fresh "Gold Dust". She sure hit the jackpot with this one, the song is maaad
Gold Dust is the third single released from DJ Fresh's second album Kryptonite. It reached #6 on the UK Dance charts, #24 on the UK Singles Chart and #39 on the Irish Singles Chart and is a favourite club djs worldwide.
The song was actually first recorded by British sensation Ms Dynamite but was re-recorded by the Jamaican song bird Cecile.
The video is known more popularly as the amazing skipping video, it was filmed at the Brownsville Project in Brooklyn and captures some performances by American Double Dutch Champions, Jumpers In Command.
Also lets not forget another song which surely must be the breakout single for CeCile where she again showcases her singing and DJ talents on the ealy 80s hit "Changez"(strangely enough it was considered a controversial song at the time becuase of her apparent diss to the stalwarts in the dancehall arena)
Gwaan Bad Gyal Cecile you are gold in our books anytime, Oh also BTW Congrats to her on the birth of her bouncing baby daughter.
