This post is about director Casey Neistat who was commissioned by Nike to make an advertisement for their new product Nike Fuel Band (an athletic-performance tracking device). Anyway instead of shooting a standard film, Casey invited his friend and took the budget and went on a trip around the world until the money ran out (it lasted 10 days) he of course carried his camera and along the way captured some of the excitement.
The video has gone viral (around 3 Million views and counting) and is truly the embodiment of fun, inspiration, creativity, great concept, great film making and all this without being too commercial or as we like to say totally maaahd.
The music featured is "(Far From) Home" by Canadian Dj Producer Tiga , the song is taken from his second album Sexor which won the 2007 Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year. If you watch the video it also has elements which probably inspired the "Make it Count" video.
Next time you get an opportunity.......make it count................
